Ataera was created by Kelly Gualtieri, a knitwear designer and design consultant who recently returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh after spending 15 years in New York City. She worked as a senior knitwear designer at Armani Exchange, Gap Inc., Express and Loft, as well as numerous other brands and designed all women's knitwear sold online, in-store domestically and globally in over 50 countries. Kelly’s sweater designs have received accolades from Vogue, Nylon, Elle and various editorials from around the globe. With her vast network, Kelly is looking to provide design consultation to small and mid size companies from initial line development to final samples.
